Quick start
Display your first logo, then add beta API lookup.
1. Display a logo without a key
Copy a PNG or SVG link from a company in the catalog. This example uses Apple’s published file:
<img src="https://img.brandmarks.dev/logos/v1/mark/AAPL.svg"
alt="Apple" width="64" height="64" style="object-fit:contain" />
Keep company text visible alongside logos. Use an empty alt attribute when the adjacent text already identifies the company.
2. Look up images with the beta API
Request access and replace YOUR_PUBLISHABLE_KEY with your issued pk_ key. Placeholder keys do not authenticate.
<img src="https://brandmarks-api.brandmarks-web.workers.dev/v1/logo/AAPL?token=YOUR_PUBLISHABLE_KEY&variant=auto"
alt="Apple" width="64" height="64" style="object-fit:contain" />
A successful request returns image bytes. Try apple.com or the company ID apple in place of AAPL. Lookup rules explain the differences.
3. Retrieve company data on your server
Set BRANDMARKS_SECRET_KEY in your server environment, then run:
curl --fail-with-body \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $BRANDMARKS_SECRET_KEY" \
'https://brandmarks-api.brandmarks-web.workers.dev/v1/companies/AAPL'
Never put a secret key into browser code, a spreadsheet, or an image URL. JSON logo URLs do not include a key: append your publishable token before displaying them. See responses and errors.
