Microsoft Excel
Display company logos with Excel IMAGE.
In an Excel version with IMAGE support, put AAPL in A2 and enter:
=IMAGE("https://img.brandmarks.dev/logos/v1/email/mark-128/"&A2&".png",A2&" logo",0)
Sizing mode 0 fits the image in the cell and preserves proportions. Resize the row and column as needed. Use exact static file keys from the catalog or manifest; names and domains are not static filenames.
Use public HTTPS PNG links. Excel may block external images according to security settings; URLs requiring authentication or redirects are not suitable. If IMAGE is unavailable in your Excel version, download the PNG from the catalog and insert it as a picture.
Keep company names in a separate column so the table remains useful when an image cannot load. Do not embed secret keys in workbooks. There is no Brandmarks Excel add-in at present.
Troubleshooting
If the image shows #BUSY! or stays blank, first confirm Excel can load the public PNG URL directly and that external images are allowed by your Excel security settings. Excel may need to recalculate: press F9 to refresh the workbook, or set Formulas → Calculation Options → Automatic so formulas recalculate when inputs change. In our test, the published formula rendered after F9 recalculation. If your Excel version does not support IMAGE, insert a downloaded PNG instead.
See Microsoft’s IMAGE reference for supported versions, error handling, and external-content restrictions.
