Email, slides & PDFs
Choose portable renditions for documents and email.
Use public PNGs and explicit display dimensions:
<img src="https://img.brandmarks.dev/logos/v1/email/logo-400/AAPL.png"
alt="Apple" width="200" height="108"
style="display:block;border:0;max-width:100%;height:auto" />
Remote images can be blocked or cached by email clients. Keep the company name as text, and use a color logo on a light surface unless you control the background. SVG and generated monograms are poor choices for broad email compatibility.
PowerPoint and presentations
Download the PNG or SVG from a company page and insert it as a picture. SVG is useful when your presentation application supports it; PNG is the portable fallback. Preserve proportions, align using the consistent canvas, and use white artwork on a dark slide.
PDF generation
Have your server fetch the chosen asset and embed it using your PDF library’s supported image format. Use PNG if SVG rendering is unavailable. Handle download errors before generating the document and set a descriptive User-Agent when fetching static files.
These are manual/file integrations, not native add-ins. Review the brand policy when using third-party artwork.
