Pass a bare hostname for a company in the catalog:

Use the company’s primary domain, without a path or query string. The resolver checks the exact hostname first, then uses the Public Suffix List to match the registrable domain, including country-code suffixes such as .co.uk. Private suffixes such as github.io are treated as separate tenant boundaries. A subsidiary can still share a parent’s registered domain, so verify company metadata and save its stable ID when identity matters.

Unknown domains return 404. A request does not crawl the website or queue a new brand for indexing. Request missing artwork instead.
