The manifest
Map data-feed symbols to published static files.
https://img.brandmarks.dev/logos/v1/manifest.json
The manifest contains version, base_url, path templates in paths, a yahoo symbol map, and per-file entries in tickers. It describes static storage, not the richer company API response.
const response = await fetch("https://img.brandmarks.dev/logos/v1/manifest.json");
if (!response.ok) throw new Error(`Manifest: ${response.status}`);
const manifest = await response.json();
const input = "BRK-B";
const key = manifest.yahoo[input] ?? input;
if (!Object.hasOwn(manifest.tickers, key)) throw new Error("Unknown symbol");
const path = manifest.paths.mark
.replace("{ticker}", encodeURIComponent(key))
.replace("{ext}", "svg");
const imageUrl = `${manifest.base_url}/${path}`;
Fetch once and reuse it across a batch. Do not assume every possible symbol exists. mark_method: "fallback" signals a full logo fitted into the square mark; prefer the full logo when displaying small. The published manifest has a five-minute cache lifetime.
