Consistent logo displays
Recognizable companies. One visual language for your tables, grids, and dashboards.
Give every company the same presentation rule: solid black on white, white on black, or contrasting black/white artwork on its primary color. Keep the shapes that identify each brand, with a consistent treatment around them.
| Company | Black on white | White on black | On brand primary |

This preview uses the published white artwork, with browser styling for black ink and backgrounds. These are Brandmarks examples, not competitor output. The beta API can compose the brand treatment into the SVG itself.
A useful default for repeated displays
A financial table can use black marks so logos do not compete with data. A dark dashboard can use white. Brand-primary tiles reintroduce color while keeping the foreground treatment consistent. You choose the visual policy once, then apply it across the supported collection.
Both full logos and marks have standard canvases and margins. This reduces per-company layout decisions, although different shapes can still have different visual weight. When a company has no distinct symbol, variant=auto prefers the full logo.
Three treatments in code
# Set a white background in your UI
/v1/logo/SHOP?variant=mark&theme=black&token=YOUR_PUBLISHABLE_KEY
# Set a black background in your UI
/v1/logo/SHOP?variant=mark&theme=white&token=YOUR_PUBLISHABLE_KEY
# Background and contrasting artwork composed in the returned SVG
/v1/logo/SHOP?variant=mark&theme=brand&token=YOUR_PUBLISHABLE_KEYUse the API base URL before these paths. Black and white themes preserve transparency; your interface supplies their backgrounds. The brand theme includes the panel in the image. Replace variant=mark with variant=logo for the full logo.
Prepared artwork, not a grayscale filter
The black treatment comes from the stored white artwork, preserving its transparent areas. Converting a multicolor image to grayscale can leave several shades; flattening it to one color can erase boundaries that relied on color. Preparing and reviewing the one-color version is therefore part of the collection's value.
What to check before integrating
Check your companies, small-size legibility, and the brand's usage guidance. Primary colors are measured from artwork with curated overrides; they are not a replacement for an official brand manual. Foreground selection prefers white at a computed 3:1 contrast threshold, otherwise black. Neutral entries use a dark panel. This is not an accessibility certification.
Black and brand API treatments currently require SVG. For those treatments in email or spreadsheets, pre-rendered PNG delivery is still a gap. The demo does not establish that every catalog record has complete, approved artwork; evaluate the assets you intend to use.
