Make a large index feel familiar.
A dashboard can list hundreds of companies while giving readers little more than a ticker to recognize them by. Consistent marks add a visual anchor to each row, helping readers find the companies they know.
A consistent row, at any scale.
Use a square mark beside the company name and ticker. Keep the image box and spacing identical across rows, and reserve full wordmarks for company detail pages.
Design for light and dark.
Color artwork works on light tables; white artwork keeps the same layout legible on a dark dashboard. Treat the background as part of the layout rather than resizing each brand separately.
